上海民盟19日发布消息称，中国民主同盟盟员、著名淮剧表演艺术家、国家级非物质文化遗产(淮剧)项目代表性传承人、上海淮剧团国家一级演员何双林因病医治无效，于8月18日4时53分在上海远大心胸医院逝世，享年78岁。何双林是淮剧界的杰出代表之一，他的离世是中国戏曲界的一大损失。他曾多次获得国内外戏剧奖项，为弘扬中华优秀传统文化做出了巨大贡献。
