近日，中国联通在广东实现了首个 RedCap 全产业链测试验证及商用部署。该技术是 5G 演进的“标志性技术”，通过对 5G 带宽和天线进行轻量化设计，大幅降低 5G 芯片复杂度，是降低 5G 行业模组、终端成本高的关键“突破口”，可广泛适用于智慧电力、视频监控、工业控制等场景。中国联通已完成涵盖芯片（高通、MTK）、模组及终端（移远通信、鼎桥、宏电、通则、大华、四信）、主设备（华为、中兴、爱立信）等为代表的硬件厂商端到端的测试验证及商用部署。RedCap 终端已实现通电自动上网、支持终端在移动状态下保持正常网络传输，支持 5G 局域网功能。该技术可进一步降低 5G 成本，提高 5G 芯片的性能和稳定性，为 5G 智慧应用提供更好的基础设施。
