Shanghai, March 20, 2025 – South Korean tech giants Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are showcasing their latest innovations in customized artificial intelligence (AI) home solutions at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) 2025 in Shanghai, which commenced today. The four-day event provides a platform for the companies to connect with local consumers and demonstrate their commitment to personalized and intelligent living experiences.

Samsung Electronics has established a sprawling 1,512-square-meter exhibition area to present its vision of AI for All. The company’s showcase features a range of customized AI home appliances and interconnected scenarios designed to cater to individual user needs. Built upon Samsung’s robust security solution, Knox, the intelligent home appliance control system, SmartThings, and the AI voice assistant, Bixby, these appliances offer enhanced AI functionalities.

Among the highlighted products is the BESPOKE AI HYBRID refrigerator, offering advanced food management and preservation features powered by AI. Also featured is the BESPOKE AI COMBO washing machine, which intelligently optimizes washing cycles based on fabric type and soiling levels.

LG Electronics is also expected to present its own suite of AI-powered home appliances and smart home solutions, further solidifying the trend of personalized and interconnected living spaces.

The AWE 2025 provides a crucial stage for Samsung and LG to demonstrate their technological prowess and solidify their position in the competitive Chinese market. By focusing on customized AI solutions, the companies are aiming to meet the evolving needs and preferences of Chinese consumers, promising a future where technology seamlessly integrates into daily life, enhancing convenience and personalization.
