Beijing, March 16, 2024 – Xiaomi has released an update addressing several user experience issues on its Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone running the company’s proprietary HyperOS. According to an official announcement posted on the Xiaomi community on March 14th, the update, identified as HyperOS 2.0.103.0, resolves problems including a misaligned volume bar in the control center under certain circumstances.

The announcement, initially reported by IT Home, details the specific fixes included in the update. Beyond the volume bar issue, Xiaomi has also addressed instances where the full-screen gesture for swiping back would fail, and cases where the Xiaoai AI assistant would fail to control smart devices.

Xiaomi is committed to providing a seamless and optimized user experience, the company stated in its announcement. We appreciate user feedback and are actively working to resolve reported issues.

The company also outlined a list of issues that are currently being addressed in future updates:

  • Xiaomi 14 (OS2.0.104.0): Screen touch unresponsiveness in specific scenarios; Failure of Do Not Disturb mode to automatically turn off in certain scenarios.
  • Xiaomi 15 Ultra (OS2.0.107.0): Incorrect display of calendar schedules in specific scenarios; Display ratio anomalies in certain setting interface pop-up windows after resolution switching (OS2.0.103.0).
  • Redmi K70 Supreme Edition (OS2.0.110.0): Abnormal power consumption of the system desktop in specific scenarios.
  • Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 (OS2.0.104.0): Abnormal blurred display of the control center background in specific scenarios.
  • Xiaomi 15 (OS2.0.107.0): Wallpaper leakage at the bottom navigation bar of the Xiaomi Browser simplified version homepage after setting a wallpaper.

This update demonstrates Xiaomi’s continued effort to refine its HyperOS and address user-reported bugs. The company’s transparency in acknowledging and addressing these issues is likely to be welcomed by Xiaomi 15 Ultra users. The ongoing development and refinement of HyperOS are crucial for Xiaomi as it seeks to compete in the increasingly competitive global smartphone market.
