XUZHOU, Jiangsu Province, China – As the weather warms in Suining, Jiangsu Province, 96-year-old Zhang Guangzhi recently inspected the road construction progress in Zhangji Village, Guanshan Town. For years, Zhang has been using his own savings to build bridges, pave roads, and construct public squares for his village, ensuring the safety and convenience of his fellow villagers.
According to the China News Service, Zhang Guangzhi has spent tens of thousands of yuan of his own money to improve the infrastructure in his village.
