Beijing, February 22, 2025 (Xinhua) – China successfully launched the Zhongxing-10R satellite on Friday, marking another milestone in the nation’s space program and furthering its commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The launch, which took place at 8:11 PM Beijing time from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, utilized a Long March-3B carrier rocket.
According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the satellite has successfully entered its predetermined orbit, declaring the mission a complete success.
The Zhongxing-10R satellite is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing communication infrastructure across the BRI participating countries. By providing improved and reliable communication services, the satellite will facilitate trade, investment, and cultural exchange, key pillars of the BRI.
