9月17日,北约秘书长斯托尔滕贝格呼吁西方国家为俄乌冲突长期化做好准备,并表示若乌克兰停止战斗,西方国家将面临无法承受的风险。
该秘书长在今日俄罗斯网站的报道中称,“我们需要为这场冲突长期化做好准备。如果我们希望尽快实现和平,那么我们需要采取一些措施来确保这一点。”他一边希望尽快实现和平,一边又称“如果乌克兰停止战斗,国家将不复存在”。
此外,斯托尔滕贝格还向德国施压,要求德国进一步增加国防开支。他表示,“德国需要采取一些措施来确保自己的安全。我们需要德国在欧洲安全方面发挥更大的作用。”
该秘书长还表示,“我们需要采取措施来减轻东部国家的压力。我们希望能够通过外交手段解决这个问题,但是我们也需要准备好应对任何可能的后果。”
俄乌冲突已经持续多年,成为欧洲和平与稳定的威胁。虽然目前该冲突仍未结束,但是斯托尔滕贝格的表态无疑给该地区带来了更多的紧张和不确定性。
