Why Focus on Community Data?
While traditional organizational structures often focus on internal systems and existing boundaries, the rapid evolution of LLMs necessitates a different perspective. The open-source community,with its decentralized nature and dynamic evolution, offers valuable insights into the emergence of new projects, the shifting focus of existing ones, and the overall trends within the ecosystem.
The Open-Source AI Ecosystem: A Glimpse
Our research, conducted in collaboration with the Open Source community, utilizes community data to analyze the relationships and trends within the LLM development ecosystem. This data provides a valuable, albeit incomplete, picture of the community’s activities and preferences.
