Korean Goods Export Fair in Austria Yields Fruitful Results
Vienna, Austria– The Korean Goods Export Fair, held in Vienna on October 29thas part of the 28th World Korean Economic Forum, has achieved significant results on its first day.
The event, which saw participation from 294entities including major corporations like Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, as well as SMEs and local governments, attracted considerable attention. A total of 377 booths were set upto showcase and promote Korean products.
President Yoon Suk-yeol of South Korea sent a written message to the opening ceremony, while Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen delivered a video address.
By 4:20 PM, thefair had facilitated 1,097 meetings, resulting in a total of $97.984 million in potential deals. Notably, $44.16 million worth of contracts were signed on the spot.
Thefair saw particularly successful outcomes in the machinery, parts, and energy sectors, with eight projects securing contracts amounting to $15.12 million.
The Korean Goods Export Fair serves as a crucial platform for promoting Korean products and fostering international business partnerships. The successful results achieved on the first day demonstrate the strong demand for Koreangoods and the potential for further growth in the Austrian market.
