Korean Music Legend Cho Yong-pil Returns with 20th Album, Hints atPossible Retirement
Seoul, South Korea – Korean music icon Cho Yong-pil, affectionately known as the King of Korean Pop, made a triumphant return to the music scene on October 22nd with his 20th studio album,aptly titled 20.
The legendary singer, now in his 70s, held a press conference in Seoul’s Yongsan district tocelebrate the release of his latest work. Cho expressed the challenges of releasing new music at his age, stating, It’s difficult to release new songs at my age, but I put my heart and soul into completing this album.He went on to add, This might be my last album, but if I come across a good song, I will release it.
20 marks Cho’s first full-length album since Hello in 2013, a gap of 11 years. The album features a total of seven tracks, including three new songs, spanning genres from rock to electronic.
