台积电董事会已经核准，以不超过1亿美元的额度，认购英国芯片设计公司Arm Holdings plc的普通股股份。据悉，Arm即将在本周上市，目前正在进行前期认购。由于需求火爆，可能导致投行提前一天结束认购。此前文件显示，Arm的10家客户——包括苹果、英伟达、AMD、谷歌、英特尔、联发科、台积电、新思科技和 Cadence Design 已经同意成为此次发行的基石投资者，并表示有兴趣购买高达7.35亿美元的ADS。
