Road Rage Turns Deadly: Man Injured After Being Pushed Onto Highway and Run Over
Steenbergen, Netherlands – A motorist was seriously injured on Monday morning after beingpushed onto the A29 highway near the Dinteloord exit during a road rage incident. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was involved in aheated argument with another driver on the hard shoulder, which escalated into a physical altercation. The victim was then pushed onto the highway, where a passing car ran over his hand.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on the A29 towards Rotterdam. According to police, the two men became enraged with each other after one allegedly cut off the other. The altercation quickly escalated, leadingto a physical confrontation on the hard shoulder.
The victim was pushed onto the highway, where he was unfortunately run over by a passing car, said a police spokesperson. The driver of the car that ran over the victim’s handstopped and cooperated with police.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries to his hand. The driver who pushed the victim onto the highway fled the scene and is currently being sought by police.
