Samsung to Host Online Foundry Forums in China, Japan, and Germany
Seoul,October 8 (Yonhap) – Samsung Electronics will host its 2024 Samsung Foundry Forum and Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem Forum online on October 24th in Beijing, China; Tokyo, Japan; and Munich, Germany.
Theannual Samsung Foundry Forum aims to showcase the company’s semiconductor process technology roadmap and promote the competitiveness of its foundry business to clients. The Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem Forum, first launched in October 2019, will feature presentations by Samsung’s partners showcasing their collaborative technological achievements and fostering further partnerships.
Samsung Electronics stated that the online format will allow for efficient dissemination of Samsung’s foundry technologyadvancements without geographical limitations.
Renée James, CEO of ARM, a British chip architecture design company, and Jonathan Ross, founder of Groq, an AI chip startup, will be among the speakers at the event in China.
This year’s forum is expected to attract a wide range of stakeholders, including semiconductor manufacturers, system integrators, and researchers, highlighting Samsung’s commitment to driving innovation and collaboration within the global semiconductor ecosystem.
