Until Dawn Movie Wraps Filming, Set for Release Next Year

Fans of the interactive horror game Until Dawn have reason to be excited, as the filmadaptation has officially wrapped filming and is slated for release next year.

Director David F. Sandberg, known for his work on Lights Out and Shazam!, took to social media to announce the completion of production. The film, based on the popular Supermassive Games title, follows a group of eight friends whofind themselves trapped in a remote mountain resort, facing off against a mysterious killer, cannibalistic creatures, and a collapsing mine.

The cast boasts a talented ensemble including Ella Purnell, Peter Stormare, Maya Mitchell, Odessa A’zion, and Michael Cimino. The screenplay was penned by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman, known for their work on the Annabelle franchise and It: Chapter Two.
