China and Indonesia Collaborate on Vocational Education Standards

[柳州, China] – In a significant step towards strengthening bilateral cooperation in education, China andIndonesia have launched a joint initiative to upgrade vocational education standards. The China-Indonesia Vocational Education Standards Upgrade Project (ICVEEP), officially kicked off on September 29thin Liuzhou, Guangxi province, aims to bridge the gap between the two countries’ vocational education systems.

The project brings together Chinese and Indonesian educational institutionsand enterprises to establish joint workgroups composed of teachers and engineers. These workgroups will collaborate on developing professional and curriculum standards, co-creating textbooks and online learning resources.
