New Chinese Fighter Jets to Debut at Zhuhai Airshow, Signaling Air Force’sModernization
Zhuhai, China – The People’s Liberation ArmyAir Force (PLAAF) is set to showcase its latest advancements in military aviation at the upcoming 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (AirshowChina) in Zhuhai, with a particular emphasis on the unveiling of new fighter jets. This announcement was made by PLAAF Deputy Commander Yu Qingjiang during a press conferenceheld on September 25th.
The airshow, scheduled for November 12th to 17th, will serve as a platform for the PLAAF to demonstrate its growing capabilities and technological prowess to the world.
In the static display area, we will have four sections: air superiority and air strikes, unmanned and anti-unmanned warfare, strategic projection and airdrop/airborne operations, and early warning and air defense/anti-missile defense, Yu stated. Many of the equipment on display will be making their debut.
The highlight of the airshow will be the public unveiling of the PLAAF’s newly developed fighter jets. These aircraft will showcase the air force’s growing capabilities in areas like long-range strategic projection and air strikes.
In terms of flight demonstrations, we will be showcasing new fighter jets developed by the PLAAF in recent years, Yu explained. We will be presenting the equipment that everyone has been eager to see, and that we are currently able to show, to share the achievements of the PLAAF’s developmentwith the public.
