Magas, Ingushetia – Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov has been re-elected as the head of Ingushetia, securing a second term in office. The decision was made by the region’s People’s Assembly (local parliament) through a secret ballot on September 8th.
According to Batyr Khamkhoev, chairman of the countingcommission, Kalimatov received 25 votes in his favor.
