韩亚航空扩大中国航线航班,应对秋冬季出行需求
SEOUL, September 5, 2024 – Hanjin Airlines announced on September 5 that it will expand its flight routes between South Korea and mainland China and Taiwan to meet the travel demands of passengers during the autumn and winter seasons.
The airline’s expansion includes the resumption of flights and the addition of new routes. The Incheon to Mudanjiang route will resume operations starting on September 22, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Busan to Qingdao route will operate daily starting December 1, marking its return after a four-year hiatus since the COVID-19 pandemic.
In terms of additional flights, the Incheon to Zhengzhou route has increased from four flights per week to seven flights per week (daily) as of last month. The Incheon to Xiamen route, which currently operates four flights per week, will operate daily starting next month. The Incheon to Taichung route will operate four flights per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) from September 10 to October 26, and will operate daily starting October 27.
Hanjin Airlines anticipates that by December of this year, the number of flights to the Chinese region will recover to 95% of the level in the same month in 2019.
The expansion of the routes is expected to boost the airline’s presence in the Chinese market, which has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the gradual recovery of the global aviation industry, the increased number of flights will provide more options for passengers traveling between South Korea and China.
Hanjin Airlines’ decision to expand its routes comes as the demand for travel between the two countries is on the rise. The resumption of flights and the addition of new routes will provide passengers with more flexibility and convenience in their travel plans.
The airline’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Chinese market also reflects the growing economic ties between South Korea and China. As two of the world’s largest economies, the two countries have been actively seeking to enhance their bilateral cooperation in various fields, including aviation.
The expansion of the Hanjin Airlines’ China routes is a positive development for the aviation industry in the region. It will not only provide more travel options for passengers but also contribute to the overall growth of the aviation industry.
In conclusion, Hanjin Airlines’ decision to expand its flight routes between South Korea and China and Taiwan is a strategic move to meet the travel demands of passengers during the autumn and winter seasons. The increased number of flights will provide more options for passengers and contribute to the growth of the aviation industry in the region.
