Nogizaka46’s Ichinose Misora Announces Change in FanCall During Final Day of Shrine Tour
Tokyo, Japan – Nogizaka46 member Ichinose Misora has announced a change in her preferred fan call during the final day of the group’s Nogizaka46 12th Year Birthday Live tour, held at the Meiji Jingu Stadium.
In a blog post published on September 4th,Ichinose addressed the change, expressing her gratitude for the support she has received since joining the group. She explained that while she initially requested fans to call her Miku-chan, she has noticed an increasing number of fans using the nicknameMii-kyun.
I am so grateful for the many wonderful nicknames that members and fans have given me since I joined, she wrote. It was hard to decide on one, so I asked everyone to callme ‘Miku-chan.’ But recently, I’ve been so happy to hear more and more people calling me ‘Mii-kyun,’ so I’d like to change my fan call to that starting today.
Ichinose also expressed her appreciation for those who have consistently called her Miku-chan throughout her time in the group.
Thank you so much to all the fans who have carefully called me ‘Miku-chan’ until now, even after I asked you to, she wrote. I’m really happy when you call me ‘Miku-chan’ or ‘Miku’ when we talk directly, like during meet-and-greets.
The announcement came just hours before the final day of the tour, which marked the culmination of a series of performances held throughout the summer. The tour, which included a record-breaking number of concerts, has been a significant milestone for Nogizaka46, celebrating their 12th anniversary.
Ichinose’s decision to change her fan call reflects her evolving relationship with her fans and her desire to embrace the affectionate nickname that has become increasingly popular. This change is likely to be met with enthusiasm by many fans who have already adopted Mii-kyun as their preferred way to address the popular idol.
The final day of the Nogizaka46 12th Year Birthday Live tour is expected to be a memorable event, with fans eagerly anticipating the performances and the opportunity to celebrate the group’s achievements. The change in Ichinose’s fan call adds another layer of excitement to the occasion, highlighting the dynamic and evolving relationship between the group and their dedicated fanbase.
