New International Route Connecting China and Singapore Takes Flight
Nanning, China- August 29, 2024 – A newinternational route connecting Linyi, China, to Singapore via Nanning is set to take off on September 27th, further strengthening the air connectivity betweenChina and Southeast Asia. The route will be operated by Beibu Gulf Airlines, a subsidiary of HNA Group.
The new route, GX8967, will depart from Linyi at 7:00 PM and make a stop in Nanning at 10:05 PM, arriving in Singapore at 3:00 AM the following day. Thereturn flight, GX8968, will depart Singapore at 4:30 AM, stop in Nanning at 8:05 AM, and arrive in Linyi at 12:25 PM. Ticketsare currently available for purchase.
This new route is expected to facilitate cultural exchange and economic cooperation between Linyi, Nanning, and Singapore. It will also contribute to the development of tourism in all three locations.
The opening of the Linyi-Nanning-Singapore international route will build aconvenient air corridor for cultural exchange and economic cooperation between the destinations, further promoting the tourism economy of Nanning, Linyi, and Singapore, said a spokesperson for Beibu Gulf Airlines.
This new route adds to Beibu Gulf Airlines’ growing international network, which now includes four routes covering three ASEAN countries. Theairline previously launched direct flights from Nanning to Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, and from Haikou to Hanoi in Vietnam.
Beibu Gulf Airlines, headquartered in Nanning, is the first local airline in Guangxi Province. It is committed to serving the region, providing domestic services, and expanding its reach to ASEANcountries.
