2024囊谦自然观察节圆满落幕,记录到396种物种,展现三江源独特生物多样性
中新网西宁8月24日电 (记者 李江宁) 2024囊谦自然观察节于8月24日顺利落下帷幕。来自全国各地的11支参赛队伍齐聚青海省玉树藏族自治州囊谦县的尕尔大峡谷,经过三天的快速调查,共记录到396种物种,展现了这片区域独特的生物多样性,也为当地生态保护和社区发展提供了新的思路。
尕尔大峡谷地处青藏高原向横断山的过渡地带,拥有从高山裸岩到针阔叶混交林的丰富植被类型,是雪豹和金钱豹同域分布的罕见区域,也是国际知名的观鸟胜地。此次自然观察节吸引了众多自然爱好者,他们与当地牧民向导合作,深入探索这片神奇的土地。
参赛队伍共提交自然观察记录1310条,记录到兽类13种、鸟类81种、两爬3种、植物299种,其中不乏马麝、猞猁、藏鹀、辐花等珍稀动植物。这些珍贵的数据将为三江源地区的生物多样性研究提供重要参考。
“本次自然观察节的一个重要特点是,当地牧民作为向导和接待家庭,全程支持并配合参赛队伍开展观察活动。”山水自然保护中心项目负责人秦璇表示,牧民们对本土自然环境的熟悉,为外来自然爱好者提供了宝贵的帮助,也让当地社区从自然体验和观察中直接受益。据悉,本次活动期间,15个牧民向导接待家庭户均增收可以达到8000元。
囊谦县人民政府相关负责人表示,将以本次活动为基础,持续探索基于科学的生态体验与自然教育活动,让更多公众有机会体验三江源区域的生物多样性和文化多样性,促进当地社区与自然的和谐共生。
此次囊谦自然观察节的成功举办,不仅展现了三江源地区的独特生物多样性,也为当地生态保护和社区发展提供了新的思路,为促进人与自然和谐共处贡献力量。

2024 Nangqian Nature Observation Festival Concludes Successfully, Recording 396 Species, Showcasing the Unique Biodiversity of the Three-RiverSource Region
Xining, August 24 (Xinhua) – The 2024 Nangqian Nature Observation Festival concluded successfully on August 24th. Eleven participating teams from across China gathered at the Gar Valley in Nangqian County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. After three days of rapid surveys, they recorded a total of 396 species, showcasingthe unique biodiversity of this region and providing new insights for local ecological protection and community development.
Located in the transition zone between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Hengduan Mountains, Gar Valley boasts a rich variety of vegetation types, ranging from alpine bare rocks to mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests. It is a rare area where snow leopards and leopards coexist and is also an internationally renowned birdwatching destination. This nature observation festival attracted numerous nature enthusiasts who, in collaboration with local herder guides, delved into this magical land.
The participating teams submitted a total of 1,310 nature observation records, documenting 13 species of mammals, 81 species of birds, 3 species of amphibians and reptiles, and 299 species of plants. Among them were rare animals and plants such as the musk deer, Eurasianlynx, Tibetan snowfinch, and Radix. These valuable data will provide important references for biodiversity research in the Three-River Source Region.
“One of the key features of this nature observation festival is the active participation of local herders as guides and host families, who provided full support and cooperation to the participating teamsthroughout the observation activities,” said Qin Xuan, project manager at the山水自然保护中心 (Shanshui Conservation Center). “Their familiarity with the local natural environment provided invaluable assistance to the visiting nature enthusiasts and also allowed the local community to directly benefit from nature experiences and observations.” It is reported that during the event, theaverage income increase for the 15 herder guide families reached 8,000 yuan.
Relevant officials from the Nangqian County People’s Government stated that they will build upon this event and continue to explore scientifically-based ecological experiences and nature education activities, allowing more members of the public to experience thebiodiversity and cultural diversity of the Three-River Source Region, promoting harmonious coexistence between local communities and nature.
The successful hosting of the Nangqian Nature Observation Festival not only showcased the unique biodiversity of the Three-River Source Region but also provided new insights for local ecological protection and community development, contributing to the promotion of harmoniouscoexistence between humans and nature.
