重庆未来10天持续高温，局地最高温或达43℃，高温红色预警持续发布
重庆市气象局23日下午发布消息称，受西太平洋副热带高压和大陆高压共同影响，预计未来10天（8月24日至9月2日），重庆市仍将维持晴热高温天气。午后到夜间局地有雷雨，并伴有短时强降水或阵性大风。
其中，8月24日至29日，重庆市大部地区日最高气温将达到37℃至41℃，沿江河谷局地可达42℃至43℃。8月30日至9月2日，大部地区日最高气温将降至35℃至39℃，沿江河谷局地可达40℃至41℃。
受晴热少雨天气影响，预计8月24日至9月2日，全市大部地区森林火险气象等级将处于极高水平。
过去一周，重庆市各地以晴热为主，部分地区出现阵雨或雷雨。江津气温最高达42.2℃。值得注意的是，重庆市气象台当天还发布了高温红色预警信号，这也是自21日以来连续三天发布高温红色预警信号。
针对持续高温天气，重庆市卫生健康委员会和重庆市气象局联合发布了“高温中暑二级预警”，提醒有关地区和单位按照高温中暑二级应急响应要求，加强对中暑病例的监测报告以及对中暑病人的救治工作。同时，建议利用多种形式宣传防暑降温知识，并开展高温环境下作业人群的防暑降温咨询和预防性给药工作。
重庆市气象局建议市民做好以下工作：
- 做好晴热高温期间电力保供、防高温中暑、防森林火灾以及防溺水工作。
- 加强交通运输、危化品储运等高温天气下的安全生产事故防范应对工作。

Chongqing’s Meteorological Bureau announced on the afternoon of August 23rd thatdue to the combined influence of the Western Pacific subtropical high pressure and the continental high pressure, the city is expected to experience continued hot and sunny weather for the next10 days (August 24th to September 2nd). Localized thunderstorms are expected in the afternoons and evenings, accompanied by short-term heavy rain or squalls.
From August 24th to 29th, most areas of Chongqing will see daily high temperatures reaching 37℃ to 41℃, with some areas along the river valleys reaching 42℃ to 43℃. From August 30th toSeptember 2nd, most areas will see daily high temperatures drop to 35℃ to 39℃, with some areas along the river valleys reaching 40℃ to 41℃.
Due to the hot and dry weather, the forest fire risk level in most areas of the city is expectedto be extremely high from August 24th to September 2nd.
