联合国安理会于8月21日举行预防冲突公开辩论会，中国常驻联合国代表傅聪在会上发表讲话，强调预防冲突要坚持发展优先。他指出，当前国际形势复杂严峻，一些地区动荡加剧并产生严重外溢影响，预防冲突的重要性更加突出。

中国作为安理会常任理事国和全球南方的重要成员，在实现自身发展的同时，始终以支持全球南方实现持久和平与可持续发展为己任。中国—联合国和平与发展基金迄今共开展近150个项目，为联合国推进落实可持续发展议程、维护国际和平与安全提供了重要支撑。
傅聪分享了两周前同联合国秘书处高级官员和林占熺教授一道赴卢旺达和坦桑尼亚考察菌草项目的经历。他表示，菌草技术是中国—联合国和平与发展基金框架下的优先项目之一，这一技术以适应性广的草本植物为依托，帮助农民快速投入菌菇、畜牧等具备更高附加值的产业，目前已推广至全球107个国家，带去了解决贫困、粮食安全、就业问题的希望。

Fu Cong shared his recent experience visiting Rwanda and Tanzania with senior UN officials and Professor Lin Zhanhui to explore the “mushroom grass” project. He explained that this technology, supported by the China-UN Peace and Development Fund, utilizes adaptable grasses to help farmers quickly transition to higher-value industries like mushroom cultivation and livestock farming.
