河北省沙河市柴关乡的王硇村，被誉为“太行川寨”，是一个拥有600余年历史的中国传统村落。这座村落不仅保留了完好的古石楼群，还有着独特的建筑风格，融合了北方太行的雄浑和南方蜀乡的秀丽。村内院落相连，户户相通，既像城堡又似迷宫，具有很强的军事防御功能。
王硇村的布局依山就势，现存完好的古院落有130余处、房屋2000多间。据《王氏家谱》记载，王硇村始于明永乐年间，始祖王得才本是成都人，他将成都的建筑风格带到了太行深处。王硇人创造了一种独特的建筑形式，红色的石头墙是太行山民居的符号，而碉楼和瓦房则体现了四川民居的特征。
随着传统村落保护工作的推进，王硇村的旅游热方兴未艾。村民王冬梅考取了导游证，为游客提供讲解服务，每月能为她带来一千五六百元的收入。王冬梅说，村里有个不成文的规定，巷子宽度必须能让红事过轿子、白事过寿材，所以村里没有窄胡同。“东家盖得早，讲究玉带缠腰的建筑风水，把房子建成凸出来的这样，西家主人盖房的时候，为了让路，把巷子宽度留够，于是弯着建，就形成现在的‘伸曲巷’。”
在王硇村，每块石头都承载着历史，每个庭院都有故事。“‘千里家书只为墙，让他三尺又何妨’，说的是安徽桐城六尺巷，在王硇同样有一个和睦礼让的巷道——伸曲巷。”
不仅如此，王硇村街巷拐角处的建筑还讲究“拐弯抹角”，即在要道拐角处，两面墙相交的直角被特意磨成圆弧角，既方便驴驮通过，又含有“圆满、团圆”的美好寓意。
在王硇村一处清代石砌四合院内，占地170余平方米的“金梭姐妹”土布工坊正在修缮改造，预计两个月后完工。改造资金来自当地住房和城乡建设部门的传统村落保护资金。“金梭姐妹”土布工坊负责人王香鱼表示，改造后会打通全部房屋，方便游客选购土布产品。
