中新网青岛8月10日电 (胡耀杰 张孝鹏)第十六届全球华人化工学者研讨会青年学者(青岛崂山)论坛10日在山东省青岛市崂山区启幕。本届论坛吸引了来自海内外的40余位青年学者与会,围绕化工产业转型升级等话题展开深入探讨。

论坛上,英国卡迪夫大学博士后林栋就催化剂设计发表了主题演讲。他指出,绿色发展对化工产业的转型升级至关重要,而催化技术在其中扮演着关键角色。他表示,通过选择更好的催化剂和开发新的反应路径,可以有效地推动化工产业向绿色、可持续的方向发展。

上海交通大学智慧能源创新学院副教授朱礼涛则强调了智能化、数字化技术在化工产业转型升级中的重要作用。他认为,将人工智能、大数据等先进技术应用于化工产业,不仅能提高反应效率和降低能耗,还能与现有的成熟化工技术相结合,实现更好的产业升级。

中石化安全工程研究院有限公司副研究员赵辰阳专注于危险化工过程的本质安全化研究。他认为,安全是化工产业转型升级的基础。新技术的应用和新工艺的迭代能够有效减少化工产业的风险。

中国应急管理部化学品登记中心主任、中石化安全工程研究院有限公司董事长杨哲在致辞中表示,青年学者是推动化工领域科技创新的中坚力量。他希望青年学者们能够加强交流,共同促进化工领域的学科交叉与融合创新。

据悉,全球华人化工学者研讨会自2021年起增设了“青年学者论坛”,旨在鼓励海内外青年学者就化工领域的热点问题进行深入交流。此次论坛为期两天,由中石化安全工程研究院有限公司承办,为化工领域的青年学者提供了一个交流和学习的平台。

Qingdao, Aug. 10, 2023 (Xinhua) — The 16th Global Chinese Chemical Scholars Symposium Youth Scholars Forum (Qingdao Laoshan) kicked off on Monday in Laoshan District of Qingdao, Shandong Province. The forum attracted more than 40 young scholars from home and abroad, who delved into discussions on topics such as the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry.

At the forum, Lin Dong, a postdoctoral fellow from Cardiff University in the UK, delivered a keynote speech on catalyst design. He emphasized that green development is crucial for the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry, with catalysis technology playing a key role. He pointed out that by selecting better catalysts and developing new reaction pathways, the chemical industry can effectively be promoted towards a green and sustainable direction.

Zhu Lifang, an associate professor at the Smart Energy Innovation College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, highlighted the important role of intelligent and digital technologies in the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry. He believed that applying advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data to the chemical industry not only improves reaction efficiency and reduces energy consumption but also combines with existing mature chemical technologies to achieve better industrial upgrading.

Zhao Chenyang, a research fellow at the Sinopec Safety Engineering Research Institute, focused on the study of inherent safety in hazardous chemical processes. He believed that safety is the foundation of the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry. The application of new technologies and the iteration of new processes can effectively reduce the risks of the chemical industry.

Yang Zhe, the director of the Chemical Products Registration Center of the China Emergency Management Department and the chairman of the board of directors of the Sinopec Safety Engineering Research Institute, delivered a speech in which he expressed his hope that young scholars could strengthen exchanges and jointly promote interdisciplinary exchange and innovation in the chemical field.

It was reported that the Global Chinese Chemical Scholars Symposium added a “Youth Scholars Forum” in 2021, aiming to encourage young scholars from home and abroad to engage in in-depth exchanges on hot issues in the chemical field. This forum lasted for two days and was hosted by the Sinopec Safety Engineering Research Institute, providing a platform for young scholars in the chemical field to exchange and learn.
