BEIJING, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) — A Sino-Korean Youth Friendly Jeju Exchange Forum was held in Jeju, South Korea, on September 9, attracting over 100 participants including officials from the Chinese Consulate-General in Jeju and local government representatives, as well as representatives from both Chinese and Korean youth.
Consul-General Wang Rushan delivered a speech at the forum, expressing his hope that the successful convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China would see further comprehensive reforms and the advancement of China’s path to modernization. He also noted that this year marks the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, and he looked forward to seeing enhanced exchanges and deeper cooperation between the youth of the two countries, contributing to the development of Sino-Korean relations.
At the forum, Sino-Korean youth representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening personnel exchanges and economic and trade cooperation.
