中新网广州5月26日电 (记者 王坚)随着近期广东地区连续出现强降雨天气,全省多个地区出现不同程度的洪水和内涝,为确保人民群众生命财产安全,广东省防汛防旱防风总指挥部办公室于5月26日14时启动了防汛Ⅳ级应急响应。

据了解,此次强降雨主要集中在珠江三角洲和粤东地区,部分地区降雨量超过100毫米,部分地区甚至出现了超过200毫米的特大暴雨。强降雨导致珠江、东江等主要河流的水位迅速上升,部分河段出现超警戒水位,给沿岸居民的生活和财产安全带来了严重影响。

广东省防汛防旱防风总指挥部办公室表示,此次启动防汛Ⅳ级应急响应是基于当前全省防汛形势的综合评估,旨在加强各级政府和相关部门的应急值守,强化对重点区域的监控和巡查,确保一旦发生紧急情况能够迅速采取有效措施。

同时,该办公室也提醒广大人民群众密切关注气象部门发布的最新天气预报,注意防范强降雨可能引发的洪水、泥石流等地质灾害,尽量减少户外活动,确保自身安全。此外,各级政府和相关部门将密切跟踪雨情、水情、工情、险情、灾情的发展变化,及时发布预警信息,并做好应急救援准备工作。
