中新网广州5月26日电 (记者 王坚)随着近期广东地区连续出现强降雨天气，全省多个地区出现不同程度的洪水和内涝，为确保人民群众生命财产安全，广东省防汛防旱防风总指挥部办公室于5月26日14时启动了防汛Ⅳ级应急响应。
据了解，此次强降雨主要集中在珠江三角洲和粤东地区，部分地区降雨量超过100毫米，部分地区甚至出现了超过200毫米的特大暴雨。强降雨导致珠江、东江等主要河流的水位迅速上升，部分河段出现超警戒水位，给沿岸居民的生活和财产安全带来了严重影响。
广东省防汛防旱防风总指挥部办公室表示，此次启动防汛Ⅳ级应急响应是基于当前全省防汛形势的综合评估，旨在加强各级政府和相关部门的应急值守，强化对重点区域的监控和巡查，确保一旦发生紧急情况能够迅速采取有效措施。
