BEIJING, May 25th, 2023 (Xinhua) — Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, paid an official visit to China from May 23rd to 25th, 2023, at the invitation of Central Committee Politburo Member and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi. This visit is an important step to strengthen strategic communication and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, and also further consolidates the long-standing friendly relations between the two nations.
During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Hun Sen had in-depth exchanges with Chinese leaders on bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and international and regional issues of mutual concern. Both sides agreed that the two countries share a long history of friendship and deep traditional ties, and that their cooperation in political, economic, cultural, and other fields is increasingly deepening, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
