The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has recently released an action plan to promote high-quality construction of national new districts, aiming to expedite the establishment of national-level new generation artificial intelligence (AI) innovation development zones and AI innovation application pilot zones within the new districts. The plan focuses on supporting the digital transformation of thousands of enterprises in areas such as Shanghai’s Pudong New District and Tianjin’s Binhai New District, creating a number of typical application scenarios.
