BEIJING, March 19 (Xinhua) — The Ministry of Public Security on Thursday launched a national campaign against the trafficking of women and children, which will last until the end of 2024.
The campaign aims to firmly establish the concept of people-centered development, enhance political awareness, and take proactive actions to protect the rights and interests of women and children, and ensure public safety and social stability, according to a statement released after a national deployment meeting held on Wednesday.
