2005年12月5日凌晨，云阳县发生一起抢劫杀人案件，一名出租车司机被残忍杀害。受当时技术条件限制，案件侦破工作一度陷入僵局，犯罪嫌疑人曹某、易某潜逃，音讯全无。
19年来，云阳县公安局始终没有放弃对该案的侦破工作。专案组民警通过对案件的重新梳理，利用现代刑事科学技术，不断对案件线索进行深入分析，逐步锁定了犯罪嫌疑人曹某、易某。

This breakthrough has led to the resolution of a homicide case that occurred on Dec. 5, 2005, in Yunyang.
On the early morning of Dec. 5, 2005, a taxi driver was brutally murdered in Yunyang County. Due to the technical limitations at the time, the case remained unsolved, and the suspects, Cao Mou and Yi Mou, went into hiding, leaving no trace.
For the past 19 years, the Yunyang County Public Security Bureau has never given up on solving the case. The task force reinvestigated the case and utilized modern forensic science to analyze the evidence, gradually focusing on Cao and Yi.
In March 2023, the task force detectives identified the hiding places of Cao and Yi through meticulous investigation. With the assistance of local police, the Yunyang police captured both suspects in Chongqing’s Yuzhong District and Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. After interrogation, Cao and Yi confessed to their involvement in the murder of a taxi driver in Yunyang 19 years ago.
