Zou Yupeng, former member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party Committee and Secretary-General of the Yulin Municipal Government in China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has been expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office for serious disciplinary violations, according to a statement released by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission (NSC). The investigation, which was approved by the Guangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, revealed that Zou had violated party discipline and engaged in illegal activities during his tenure. As a result, the Guangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Guangxi Provincial Supervisory Commission decided to impose party discipline and administrative sanctions on Zou, including expulsion from the party and dismissal from public office.
