Zhang Min, a CPPCC National Committee member and a Blang teacher at Xishuangbanna Vocational and Technical College in Yunnan, submitted several proposals at this year’s Two Sessions, focusing on the high-quality development of key industries in border ethnic regions.
As a CPPCC member from the grassroots level, Zhang Min conducted in-depth research on the current state of industrial development in the Xishuangbanna area and proposed practical solutions. She pointed out that the development of industries in border ethnic regions faces challenges such as talent shortages, insufficient scientific and technological innovation capacity, and incomplete industrial chains.
In response to these problems, Zhang Min suggested increasing investment in vocational education in border ethnic regions to cultivate more skilled professionals who can meet the needs of industrial development.
