据香港星岛环球网25日报道，日本政府于24日开始排放福岛核污染水，内地及澳门有人开始抢盐，‘热潮’更杀到香港，社交媒体近日流传多张超市货架照片，无论粗盐、细盐、食盐、海盐均所余无几，甚至被抢购一空。有照片显示有市民抢购数十包食盐，也有人在社交媒体上分享购买食盐的信息。专家表示，抢盐行为并无必要，因为食盐的主要成分是氯化钠，其放射性物质含量极低，不会对人体健康造成影响。然而，由于恐慌情绪蔓延，不少市民纷纷涌入超市抢购食盐，导致部分超市食盐库存迅速减少。目前，香港政府已经注意到了这一情况，正在密切关注事态发展，同时呼吁市民保持理性，不要盲目跟风抢购食盐。
