In the aftermath of a devastating forest fire in Pu’an County, Guizhou Province, two brave firefighters tragically lost their lives while saving others. According to official sources, the blaze broke out in the village of Huagaxiang in Shuicheng City’s Shuixi District on the 19th of February, quickly spreading to the Hongqi Community in Pu’an County’s Longyin Town, Guizhou Province. During the subsequent firefighting efforts, it was confirmed on the 21st that two firefighters lost their lives in the line of duty.
Local authorities are currently actively dealing with the aftermath of the tragedy, ensuring that the families of the two heroic firefighters receive the care and support they deserve. The cause of the forest fire is under investigation.
