近日，湖北省荆州市二广高速荆州大桥路段和沪渝高速荆州段受降雪、冻雨影响，出现大面积结冰积雪现象，严重影响车辆通行。武警第二机动总队某支队接到命令，迅速出动70余名兵力、20余台大型工程机械驰援受灾现场。
在雪灾面前，武警官兵们全力以赴，昼夜奋战，积极展开除雪抢通工作。他们采用大型工程机械对积雪进行清除，并对路面进行撒盐化冰，以保障道路畅通。截止到2月6日，受灾现场的道路通行条件已得到明显改善。
此次武警驰援行动，再次展现了我国人民子弟兵为人民群众排忧解难的英勇形象。在接下来的雪灾应对工作中，武警部队将继续发挥专业优势，确保人民群众的生命财产安全。
