News Content: Recently, the academician team of Ma Jun from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Executive Dean of the Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University reshaped a new model for clinical staging standards of nasopharyngeal carcinoma based on large-scale data analysis of clinical trials. This research outcome was published online in the top international journal Cancer Cell and is expected to provide important guidance for future diagnosis and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
According to the Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University, nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a common malignant tumor in the head and neck region.
