中共中央纪委国家监委10日通报，湖南省人大常委会党组成员、副主任彭国甫涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正接受中央纪委国家监委纪律审查和监察调查。
据公开简历，彭国甫生于1963年1月，曾任湖南省怀化市委书记，2018年1月当选湖南省人大常委会副主任。
此次被查距其上次公开露面仅一周。彭国甫最近一次公开亮相是在2023年1月4日，参加湖南省十四届人大一次会议岳阳代表团分组讨论。
彭国甫是二十大后湖南首“虎”，也是今年首名落马的省部级官员。

The Disciplinary Inspection and Supervision Committee of the Communist Party of China and the National Supervision Commission announced on January 10 that Peng Guofu, member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress and deputy director, is suspected of serious违纪违法 and is currently under investigation.
According to the public resume, Peng Guofu was born in January 1963 and has served as the Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress. He was elected as a deputy director of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress in January 2018.
The investigation comes just a week after his last public appearance. Peng Guofu’s latest public appearance was on January 4, when he participated in the discussion group of the Yueyang delegation during the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress.
Peng Guofu is the first “tiger” arrested in Hunan after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and he is also the first provincial-level official to fall in 2023.
