At the recent “AI PC Industry Innovation Forum” hosted by Lenovo Group, Gao Yu, General Manager of Intel China Technical Operations, revealed that the next-generation Core Ultra processors have successfully adapted to more than 10 domestic large language models. This achievement marks a significant breakthrough for Intel in AI computing power solutions.
To achieve higher performance in AI processing, Intel has adopted the XPU strategy, which consists of GPU, NPU, and CPU “trios.” Large language models have been successfully deployed on Intel CPUs and run smoothly. In the future, Intel will continue to strive for deployment of large language models on NPUs.
