2023年8月20日11时42分许，江苏省南京市江北新区104国道南京花旗营段发生一起严重交通事故。一辆由安徽来安县开往南京林场站的城际公交车(皖M03799D)在行驶过程中突发大火。事发后，当地消防部门迅速赶到现场进行灭火救援工作。12时许，现场明火已被扑灭。此次事故共导致2名乘客不幸遇难，另有5名乘客受伤。目前，伤者已送至附近医院接受救治，无生命危险。事故原因尚在调查之中。
