On September 30th, the Chengdu Cultural and Tourism Bureau organized the \”2023 Chengdu Cultural Tourism Introduction to Southeast Asia\” event, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand, and Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The event aimed to promote Chengdu’s unique natural scenery, historical culture, and folk customs as tourist attractions, attracting more Southeast Asian tourists to experience various forms of tourism, such as sightseeing, leisure, and vacation.

The event received high attention and support from the governments of both countries, and the tourism departments of both countries worked together to introduce a series of unique tourist products and services, including Chengdu’s Panda Research and Breeding Center, the Jinsan pedestrian street, the wide and narrow alleys, and the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy, as well as Thai Bangkok city and Indonesian Yogyakarta city.
