Beijing, China – In a significant leap forward in the world ofsmart wearables, Baidu today announced the launch of its XiaoDu AI Glasses, a groundbreaking product touted as the world’s first native AIglasses powered by a Chinese large language model. The unveiling took place at the 2024 Baidu World Conference.
The XiaoDu AIGlasses boast a suite of innovative features designed to seamlessly integrate AI into everyday life. Users can engage in on-the-go conversations with the AI, capturing first-person perspectives through the built-in camera. Additional functionalities includecalorie tracking, object recognition, real-time translation, and intelligent note-taking.
A Technological Breakthrough
The glasses, weighing in at a mere 45 grams, are equipped with a 16MP ultra-wide-anglecamera featuring AI anti-shake technology. They offer an impressive 56 hours of standby time, support over 5 hours of continuous listening, and can be fully charged in just 30 minutes. The glasses incorporate a four-microphone array for voice recognition and an open-style, leak-proof speaker design.
Li Ying, Vice President of Baidu Group and CEO of XiaoDu Technology, revealed that the XiaoDu AI Glasses are slated for official release in the first half of next year.
