China Telecom Unveils Star Model – A Comprehensive AI Model Platform
ChinaTelecom has launched Star Model, a comprehensive AI model platform that aggregates a diverse range ofAI models across multiple modalities, including semantics, vision, and speech. This platform, designed to accelerate AI adoption across various industries, features models with varying parameter sizes,enabling them to handle extensive text processing, multi-lingual speech recognition, and multi-task visual processing.
Star Model’s Core Components:
*Star Semantic Model: Developed by China Telecom’s AI Research Institute, this large language model leverages domestic computing power and is trained on a massive dataset of 1.5 trillion tokens of high-quality English and Chinese text. It excels intasks like general question answering, knowledge-based tasks, code generation, and mathematical problems. The model supports long-text processing, multi-round dialogue, and offers functionalities like text generation and multilingual support. Its weights are available in multiple formats and platformsfor easy deployment.
