SHANGHAI, CHINA – November 2, 2023 – Geely Galaxy, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding Group, achieved a record-breaking 63,492 units sold in October, marking a significant surge of over 83% year-on-year, according to data shared by Yang Xueliang, Senior Vice President of Geely Holding Group. This impressive performance represents a 21% increase from the previous month, with cumulative sales reaching 349,768 units fromJanuary to October.
This stellar performance comes on the heels of Geely Automobile’s strong overall sales figures for October. The company reported a total of 226,686 vehicles sold, a 28% increase compared to thesame period last year. Pure electric vehicle sales reached 78,858 units, a remarkable 132% jump year-on-year, while plug-in hybrid sales climbed 17% to 29,864 units.
Geely’s other brands also demonstrated stronggrowth in October. Polestar achieved a 92% year-on-year increase in sales, reaching 25,049 units, while Lynk & Co saw a 26% rise in sales to 31,074 units.
