OPPO is gearing up for abusy start to 2024 with the release of its highly anticipated flagship Find X8 Ultra and foldable Find N5 smartphones, according to industry sources.
X platform blogger @Teme revealed that both devices are slated to hit the market in the first quarter of next year. While the Find N5 was initially rumored to feature aquad-camera setup, it appears that OPPO has opted to stick with the current three-camera configuration.
The Find X8 series, which includes the Find X8 Ultra, has already been officially announced for a launch on October 24th. The initial models will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor and run on ColorOS 15. However, specific details about the Ultra variant remain under wraps.
Earlier this year,Zhou Yibao, the product manager for OPPO’s Find series, teased the Find X8 Ultra in a video. He revealed that the device will be thinner than its predecessor, the Find X7 Ultra (9.5mm), and will feature a less prominent camera bump. He also addressed concerns regarding the back cover material,stating that a change is not a problem.
In September, blogger @Experiencemore reported that the Find N5 is on track to be the first foldable smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Extreme Performance). This suggests that the device’s release isimminent, with the new Snapdragon flagship platform set to be unveiled at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit on October 22-24.
With the upcoming release of the Find X8 Ultra and Find N5, OPPO is poised to make a strong showing in the early months of 2024. Thecompany’s commitment to innovation and design, coupled with its strategic partnerships with leading chipmakers, promises to deliver compelling devices for consumers.
