Beijing, China – FractalDesign, a renowned manufacturer of PC components and peripherals, has officially launched its Era 2 ITX case in China. The case, priced at ¥1549 (approximately $220), is now available for purchase on JD.com.
The Era 2 boasts a sleek and modern design, available inthree color options: Silver, Midnight Blue, and Deep Gray. Measuring 366×165×314 mm (approximately 19 liters), the case features a CNC-machined, anodized aluminum shell with astylish curved design. The sides feature enlarged MESH openings for improved airflow, while the top is adorned with a solid walnut wood magnetic panel. The bottom is equipped with an integrated dust filter.
Internally, the Era 2 adopts amotherboard-GPU back-to-back structure, pre-installed with a PCIe 4.0 expansion card. It supports ITX motherboards and SFX (L) power supplies, with a maximum graphics card length of 326mm and a height of 137mm. The caseoffers four 2.5-inch hard drive bays.
The Era 2 features a flexible internal layout design, with approximately 15mm of adjustment space. The CPU cooler and graphics card have a combined height limit of 118mm, adjustable in three stages to accommodate 2.4~3.1slot graphics cards and 70~55mm high CPU coolers.
Cooling-wise, the Era 2 comes pre-installed with two 120mm Aspect PWM fans at the bottom. It also includes a detachable top bracket that supports a 280mm radiator or two 140mm fans.
The I/O panel is located at the bottom front and provides two USB-A 5Gbps ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 port, one audio jack, and a glowing power button.
