Since September 6, the upstream areas of the Ming River, Fangcheng River, Beilun River, and Dazhi River have experienced a marked rise in water levels of 2-10 meters. As a result, 13 stations across nine rivers in Guangxi have seen floods exceeding their warning levels by 0.33-2.36 meters.

Predicted Flooding
The Guangxi Provincial Hydrological Center predicts that in the next 24 hours, the middle and lower reaches of the Ming River will continue to rise by 3-5 meters. Specifically, the river section from Dong’an Town, Ningming County, to Ningming County City will see flooding exceeding the warning levels by 1-2 meters.
Over the next 24-48 hours, the full length of the Left River will experience a rise in water levels of 4-7 meters, with the river section in Chongzuo City likely to reach warning levels. The water level in the Nanning urban section of the Yu River is expected to rise by about 2 meters, approaching the flood prevention level. Partial small and medium-sized rivers in cities such as Fangchenggang, Chongzuo, Baise, Nanning, Qinzhou, and Beihai may also see excessive flooding.

As of 7 a.m. on September 8, the Guangxi Provincial Hydrological Center has continued to issue a blue flood warning.
