会议期间，教育部工程材料与机械制造基础（金工）虚拟教研室主任、山东大学教授孙康宁以“关于金工课程群虚拟教研室的发展与思考”为题，回顾了虚拟教研室两年来的建设成果。他表示，教研室充分发挥了自身优势，主动承担了多项教育教学项目，解决了教学中的关键问题，并实现了教育部提出的建设要求。此外，他还提出了弘扬教育家精神，探究“四新”建设模式的建议，即新思想、新理念、新模式、新路径。
沈阳航空航天大学校长李润东在会上致辞，强调了虚拟教研室在金工课程群建设中的重要性，并指出本次会议的成功举办对于培养新时代工程人才具有重要意义。

The symposium is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education’s Engineering Materials and Mechanical Manufacturing Foundation (Goldwork) Curriculum Group Virtual Teaching Research Room, the Ministry of Education’s Committee on Basic Engineering Course Teaching, and the Sub-committee on Teaching of Basic Mechanical Courses. The main objectives of the meeting are to convey the guiding spirit of the Ministry of Education regarding the construction of virtual teaching research rooms, summarize and share the construction experiences of typical virtual teaching research rooms nationwide, and engage in in-depth discussions on teaching practice and curriculum development.
During the meeting, Professor Sun Kangning, the director of the Ministry of Education’s Engineering Materials and Mechanical Manufacturing Foundation (Goldwork) Virtual Teaching Research Room and a professor at Shandong University, gave a presentation titled “Development and Reflections on the Virtual Teaching Research Room for the Goldwork Curriculum Cluster,” reviewing the construction achievements of the virtual teaching research room over the past two years. He stated that the research room has fully utilized its strengths, taken the initiative to undertake various educational projects, solved critical teaching issues, and achieved the construction requirements set by the Ministry of Education.
