中新社北京3月17日电 (记者 郭超凯)3月15日17时许，四川省甘孜州雅江县呷拉镇白孜村发生森林火灾，截至16日15时许，因火场风力突然增大，火势迅速扩大蔓延。记者17日从中国应急管理部获悉，国家森防指办公室已启动IV级应急响应，派出由应急管理部、国家林业和草原局组成的联合工作组赶赴现场指导扑救工作。
目前，已有上千名扑火人员和多台消防装备投入灭火行动，其中包括森林消防队伍、地方专业扑火队和当地干部群众等。由于火场地形复杂、风向多变，给扑救工作带来了一定的困难。工作组将现场研判火情，指导地方采取科学有效的扑救措施，确保扑火人员安全，严防发生次生灾害。

BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) — A forest fire broke out in the village of Bazhi, Ji’ala Town, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, at around 17:00 on March 15. By 15:00 on March 16, the fire spread rapidly due to sudden increases in wind speed. According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, the National Forest Fire Prevention Headquarters has activated a Level IV emergency response and dispatched a joint working group consisting of officials from the ministry and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration to guide the firefighting efforts on the ground.
As of now, over 1,000 fire fighters and numerous firefighting equipment, including forest fire teams, local professional fire suppression squads, and local government officials and residents, have been mobilized to battle the blaze. The complex terrain and unpredictable wind directions have posed challenges to the firefighting operations. The working group will assess the fire situation on site and guide local authorities in adopting scientific and effective suppression measures to ensure the safety of fire fighters and prevent secondary disasters.
Additionally, in light of the current severe forest fire prevention situation, the Ministry of Emergency Management has called for stricter control over fire sources, increased patrolling, and enhanced readiness to ensure rapid response in case of fire.
