第24届中国国际光电博览会(CIOE)在上个月落下帷幕,武汉光迅科技在本次展览中展示了他们最新的研发成果——业界首个1.6T高速光模块。这款名为OSFP-XD的光模块采用了最新的OSFP MSAA及CMIS协议标准,封装形式为OSFP-XD。它拥有16个通道的电接口,单通道信号速率高达100Gb/s,而光接口则采用了8通道设计,单通道信号速率更高,达到了200Gb/s。这一突破性的产品展示了光迅科技在光通信领域的强大实力和创新能力。

据悉,这款光模块采用了最新一代5nm DSP技术,能够在10km传输距离内保证信号质量。同时,它还采用了光迅科技独特的COC(chip on carrier) 和COB(chip on board) 工艺平台,这使得其性能得到了进一步提升。光迅科技认为,这款光模块的成功展示意味着单波200G技术相关产业链已经逐步成熟。在未来,800G全系列光模块将从8×100G架构走向4×200G架构,这将有助于进一步降低单位比特成本及功耗。

光模块作为5G网络物理层的基础构成单元,通常由光发射组件(含激光器)、光接收组件(含探测器)、驱动电路和光电接口等部分组成。随着5G网络的快速发展,对光模块的需求也在不断增加。光迅科技作为中国领先的通信设备制造商之一,一直在积极探索新的技术和市场机会。这次首展的1.6T高速光模块无疑是一个重要的里程碑,预示着光迅科技在未来的竞争中将占据更有利的地位。
